They’ve been hurt so deeply that they look for reasons to be cruel and run away. I’m afraid that one day I wont be able to find them ever again.

That anyone would feel as strongly about me as I feel about them.
How do you really feel about Nami?
I’ve loved her since the moment I first saw her at the Baratie. I always believed in her goodness. She has my hands, my heart, my whole body — if she needs me to cook for her, to fight for her, to say anything to anyone for her, I will. I would die for Nami, because she has the kind of goodness in her that’s rare and difficult and beautiful, the kind she doesn’t always see herself, but I see it. The whole crew sees it. Nami is everything to me. I’d do anything for her, even if her smiles aren’t for me anymore.
